Rockhampton TAFE
This highly progressive and
innovative Queensland TAFE institute has recently installed
a 15 Station NIDA Lab dedicated to providing Performance
Based Technical Skills Training for a number of trade areas
using Internet Deliverable Courseware. They have also
purchased a number of HVAC Training Systems provided by
Hampden Engineering to assist in the delivery of Cert III
Courses in HVAC and numerous pieces of Hardware, Courseware
and Software from Megatech Corp who provide quality
Automotive Training Equipment. Well done to the management
and staff of Rockhampton TAFE for providing their students
with state of the art training equipment which will serve
them well in the years ahead.

Emerald TAFE
Emerald TAFE as like Rockhampton
TAFE, have purchased quite a variety of Megatech Automotive
Training Equipment to service the requirements of their
student group who predominantly come from the various mines
within the Emerald District. These Trainers service the
Light to Heavy Vehicle Range and combine Brake, Propulsion
and Electrical Systems Training.

Barrier Reef Institute of
TAFE
Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE
(BRIT) located in Townsville has recently purchased
identical Hampden Enginnering HVAC equipment to service the
same needs as Rockhampton. In addition, the Automotive Dept
has purchased a number of pieces of Megatech Automotive
Trainers to support the Automotive Training they provide.
Again, well done to the management and staff in both areas
in selecting Hampden and Megatech trainers to assist with
their training programs.

Canberra Institute of
Technology (CIT)
Due to commence delivering
training from a new facility at their Fyshwick Campus, they
recently upgraded their NIDA Lab to incorporate twenty five
130E stations to provide training for a number of trade
areas which include: Electricity/Electronics, Communications
(Radio, Telephone, Fibre Optic, Signal Processing,
Microwave), Transducers, Automotive Electrical, PLCs and
underpinning for HVAC and Instrumentation. They have
upgraded to the Internet Deliverable Software which will
enable them to deliver their Training to a wider audience.
CIT was one of the first institutes to use NIDA equipment
since 1992.

Gippsland TAFE
Gippsland TAFE Chadstone campus
has just installed NIDA 110 and 130E Trainers to enhance the
training requirements of their Linesman. Using basic AC and
DC lessons supported by a fully comprehensive Maths program
and Internet Deliverable Software, staff at Chadstone see
the NIDA programs being able to assist with the delivery of
their training in a quicker and more efficient manner than
previously done. The speeding up of basic fundamentals
training will allow for more time in the "Hands On"
environment. Cannot wait to see how the program is
embarrassed by all at Chadstone.

With one of the busiest years ever.
UTTS Pty Ltd is extremely fortunate to be able to represent
a group of extremely professional companies namely NIDA
Corporation, Hampden Engineering and Megatech Corporation,
that provide not only quality Training Equipment but also
After Sales Backup, Support, Installation and Training. This
can be verified by all UTTS' customer base. The sale of a
quality product is important but if Training of the
equipment is not forth coming, and it cannot be supported,
then it is not much use to anyone. To all potential
purchasers of training equipment, do keep this in mind.
